Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure two (2) KC-46 engine change systems for the 568 AMXS maintenance squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, OK. The systems must be capable of raising and lowering KC-46 engines.

• Deliver two (2) turn-key KC-46 engine change systems.

• Provide proof of setup and full operational capabilities for both systems.

• Provide training for both systems (operator and maintenance).

• Contractor responsible for delivery, loading/unloading, uncrating, and initial setup at Tinker Air Force Base.

• On-site training (minimum 2 days) for at least 10 operators and 4 maintenance personnel.

• Work performed Monday-Friday, 0700-1600 hrs, excluding federal holidays and base closures.

• Compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding environmental protection and occupational safety.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items to procure KC-46 Engine Change Systems. The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC/PZIMB) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for two (2) KC-46 engine change systems.
