  • Exterior Refurbishment: Painting of the entire tower building exterior panels, roof guardrail, exterior ladder, safety cage, catwalk, external doors, windows, louvers, frames, and base building siding. This includes removing existing sealant, addressing rust, peeling paint, and re-caulking deteriorated finishes.
  • Asbestos Abatement: Safe removal of confirmed Chrysotile asbestos-containing materials from the existing roof system, adhering to federal and local regulations.
  • Ancillary Work: Installation of new walkway pads, inspection and repair/replacement of roof hatches, and repair/replacement of rusted exterior components. Work is to be scheduled to avoid interruption of Air Traffic service, potentially requiring night shifts (10 pm - 6 am).

Contract Details

  • Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.
  • Period of Performance: 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP), with a preferred timeframe of June 15, 2026, through September 15, 2026.
  • Set-Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). The FAA anticipates awarding to an 8(a), Hubzone, or small disadvantaged business.
