  • Removal of 61,000 CY from the Doubling Point area to an elevation of -32 feet MLLW +2 feet overdepth, specifically targeting sand-waves.
  • Removal of 10,000 CY from the Popham Beach area.
  • Removal of 9,000 CY from the Bath Reach area, adjacent to BIW.
  • Placement of dredged material from Bath Reach and Doubling Point into the in-river disposal area north of Bluff Head.
  • Placement of material from Popham Beach into the newly established nearshore Jackknife Ledge West Disposal Site. The dredging and placement work is anticipated to take 3-4 weeks to complete.
