Scope of Work

This Request for Quote (RFQ) seeks a contractor to furnish all materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, quality control, and labor for the following:

  • Procure and install two (2) new pumps (40 GPM, 108 ft TDH, 5.0 HP, 3450 RPM, 460/3/60 Hz) at the Kentucky Lock Wall lift station.
  • Repair one existing Zoeller Model G7112 grinder pump (7.5 HP, 3450 RPM, 460/3/60 Hz).
  • Repair or replace the lift station pump transducer (precision digital PDA6420 Split Core AC Current Transducer).
  • Replace the 2" check valve (Flomatic Model 508 Part Number 3235) and the 2" ball valve (Flomatic Part Number SSBV1000-20) in the wet well.
  • Install new pump supports and verify/replace the Conery base if necessary.
  • Conduct a functionality test to ensure the system operates as intended, including automatic pump operation via transducer and float systems, and automatic switching.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and directives, including FAR, Corps of Engineers Manual EM 385-1-1, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Submit a safety plan, accident prevention plan, and Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA).
  • Ensure contractor employees are certified in First Aid and CPR.
  • Comply with security requirements, which may include background checks and escorted access. A site visit is recommended.
