Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide all materials, tools, equipment, software, and training necessary for a complete facility key control system. Key requirements for the electronic key boxes include:

  • Plunge style fobs for individual key security.
  • Proximity card access (ideally using existing PIV cards) with a PIN code backup.
  • Photo capture upon box access.
  • Key access restrictions based on user roles, date/time of withdrawal.
  • Wall-mounted design with a backup power supply.
  • Maximum dimensions: 46” H x 27” W x 11” D.

Specific departmental needs for key box capacities are:

  • SCM: One box, minimum 64 key sets.
  • FM: Two boxes; one minimum 32 keys, one minimum 96 keys or 60 sets.
  • EMS: Two boxes, each minimum 128 key sets.
  • Police: One box, minimum 96 key sets.

The contractor is also responsible for installation and all associated materials. All deliverables and installation must be completed no later than 90 days after contract award.
