Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide US Government personnel with interpretation services in Mongolia.

• Provide oral interpretation services between Mongolian and English.

• Perform basic administrative clerical work, including drafting correspondence, coordinating meetings, and research.

• Offer specialized interpretation for military tactical and medical training scenarios.

• Contractors must be flexible to changes in performance periods, quantities, and services due to military exercises.

• Services include monitoring live audio, interpreting, and potentially performing written translation.

• Contractor error rate for work product shall not exceed 1% of total conversations.

• Contractors may be required to correct excessive errors at no additional cost.

• Performance will be evaluated against standards in Section 13 (Performance Requirement Summary).

• Work will be performed at any location in Mongolia as specified.

• Services are required 24 hours a day unless otherwise specified.

• Interpreters must be fluent in spoken and written English and Mongolian.

• Interpreters must have basic understanding of military operations and logistics.

• Specialized interpreters may need to conduct field operations.

• Contractors must provide their own travel, lodging, and logistics support.

• Simultaneous interpreters require industry-recognized certification and experience.

• Personnel must adhere to U.S. and Host Nation safety regulations (AR 385-10, DA PAM 385-10, OSHA CFR Title 29 Part 1910).
