Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for the fabrication of plastic parts for the King Node Assembly, which is a component used in High Speed Maneuverable Surface Targets (HSMST) for fleet training and weapon development exercises. The King Node assembly serves as a waterproof enclosure for electronics and a communication link.

• Fabrication of 200 units each of the following parts:

  • King Node Status Panel
  • King Node Enclosure
  • King Node Rear Cover
  • King Node LCD Cover

• All parts must meet the requirements outlined in the referenced technical documents (TS20160 Rev. D, TS20159-1 Rev. C, TS20159-2 Rev. A, TS20159-3 Rev. A1).

• Text on the Status Panel must be laser-engravable and readable.

• First Article Approval: 3 units of the complete King Node Assembly are required for testing within 120 calendar days of contract award.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price

• Period of Performance: Delivery is due by September 30, 2026.

• Payment: Authorized at the beginning of the period of performance. Invoices may not be submitted before the period of performance begins.

• Offer Due Date: May 29, 2026, at 04:00 PM.

• Evaluation Factors: Award will be made to the responsible Offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government, considering PRICE and DELIVERY DATE. Award will be made without discussion.

• Submission Instructions: Offerors must provide vendor name, address, POC, phone, email, CAGE code, SAM UEI, estimated delivery or period of performance, product country of origin, business size, shipping point, shipping cost, WAWF registration status, SAM registration status, and warranty information.

• This acquisition is set aside for Small Business.

• NAICS Code: 332710 (Machine Shops), Size Standard: 500 employees.

• Early delivery is accepted at no additional cost to the Government.

• All invoicing and payment requests will utilize Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).

• Shipping instructions and inspection/acceptance locations are detailed in Sections E and F.

• A list of attachments, including production drawings, is provided in Section J.
