The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, requires navigational buoy installation and maintenance services for the Kinzua / Allegheny Reservoir, located in Warren County and McKean County, Pennsylvania, and Cattaraugus County, New York. The work consists of the installation, realignment, removal, cleaning, replacement, and seasonal storage of approximately seventy-seven (77) navigational buoys. Buoys are can-type regulatory buoys with warning, controlled area, and exclusion messages. Services include transportation of buoys and anchors, measurement of water depths, adjustment of anchor chains and mooring lines, in-season realignment, end-of-season removal, cleaning, decal replacement, and storage. This requirement will be solicited as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using commercial item procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Parts 12 and 13.
