Sources Sought Notice

This notice is a Sources Sought to conduct market research for the procurement of Kitchen Utensils, Brand Name or Equal, for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. The government is assessing market capabilities and identifying potential sources. A future solicitation may be published based on the responses.

• The primary deliverable is a package of kitchen utensils (PKG #702B) for the Community Living Center (CLC) activation.

• Vendors must indicate if they are a Socio-economic Small Business and if they are a Nonmanufacturer.

• Vendors should indicate if they hold a GSA Federal-Supply-Schedule or IDIQ contract covering this request.

• An Authorized Distributor Letter from the manufacturer is required if not the manufacturer.

• Comments or concerns regarding the draft SOW should be included.

• Response due date: February 16, 2025, at 12 PM Central Time.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Statement of Work outlines the requirement for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System to purchase Package #702B, consisting of various kitchen utensils. These items are essential for the activation of the Community Living Center (CLC) at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System.

The vendor is responsible for providing the specific kitchen utensils listed in the document. Key items include cookware (frying pans, pot sets), bakeware (sheet pans, muffin pans), various utensils (stainless steel sets, ladles, shears), measuring tools, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, timers, oven mitts, and organizers.

• Delivery Schedule: March 16, 2026, to April 16, 2026.

• Delivery Location: The primary delivery location is an IOT&A Contractor-Provided Warehouse at 1008 FULLER STREET, SANTA ANA, CA 92701. Direct delivery to the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822) may also be an option, to be confirmed post-award.

• Delivery Hours: Monday through Friday, 0800 to 1500 Pacific Standard Time, excluding Federal Holidays.

• Pricing: Vendors shall not increase prices for delivery date changes up to 30+ days due to construction delays.

• Coordination: Post-award, the vendor must coordinate delivery dates with the VA POC and COR. Delivery location confirmation will be provided post-award.

• Delivery Terms: Delivery is Freight On Board (FOB) – Destination.

• Labeling: Delivered items must be labeled with the VA facilities contract number and VA purchase order number.

• Warehouse Use: If the vendor uses the Government's activation contractor's warehouse, a certificate of insurance is required prior to delivery.

• Clean Up: No dumpsters will be provided; vendors are responsible for waste removal.

• VA Form 6550: Required for any items connecting to the VA network or storing sensitive patient information.

• Assembly/Installation/Training: None required.
