Revision 1: adding the below Q&A.
- Re: The use of multiple lodging facilities. The SOW does not limit the fifty double occupancy rooms to one location, however, it is the preference of the government to minimize the number of locations utilized.
- Re: Expanding the radius. At this time, the government is not intending to expand the radius in the SOW beyond the ten miles.
- Re: Differing per diem rates for Kittery/Portsmouth, parking fees, additional costs, etc. The government is expecting the vendor to propose one rate to include all amenities within the SOW and not to exceed Kittery, ME per diem rates. There will not be additional line items or covered costs.
- Re: Arrival schedule and cancellation policy. The government will obtain possession of the hotel keys at the start of the PoP and return them at the end of the PoP, regardless of when travelers arrive. This is what will be billed.
- Re: Tax exemption. A letter can be provided to the vendor.
- Re: Personnel providing credit cards for incidental damages. No, personnel will not provide credit cards for incidental damages. Any damages incurred will have to be documented and submitted to the government in the form of a Claim or Request for Equitable Adjustment
- Re: Single-occupancy vice double-occupancy. Only double-occupancy rooms will be accepted in accordance with the SOW.
- Re: 3rd party communications. The government will communicate with the prime contractor only. If a vendor is subcontracting to hotels, that is between the vendor and the hotel.
