Scope of Work
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other non-personal services necessary to provide a fully functional housing facility in Hyder, AK. The facility must be available without interruption from July 1 to September 30 each year. Key requirements include:
- Facility Amenities: A restroom with hot/cold water, shower, toilet, and sink; a kitchen with hot/cold potable water and standard appliances; utilities (garbage, electricity, heating).
- Safety & Furnishings: Combination smoke detectors, fire alarms, Type ABC fire extinguisher, Carbon Monoxide detectors, and guardrails/handrails. Three bedrooms, each equipped with a bed, mattress, pillow, sheets, and blankets.
- Maintenance: Provision of cleaning supplies (vacuum, mop, bucket, broom), a working washer and dryer, and maintenance to keep walkways and roof areas free of ice, snow, and leaves.
