Lagun CM-4 Series #60211 Repair and Evaluation

Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide repair services and technical evaluation for one (1) Lagun CM-4 Series Milling Machine (Serial Number #60211).

• Repair the X-Axis of the milling machine using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or compatible parts.

• Perform a comprehensive evaluation of the Y-Axis Ram Extension.

• Execute a control upgrade as per the approved service plan.

• Furnish and install all required parts, including Schneeberger track rollers and guiderail blockers, as detailed in Republic-Lagun Quotation #1952.

• Notify the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) before proceeding with any out-of-scope repairs identified during the Y-Axis evaluation.

• Period of Performance (POP) to be finalized upon contract award, commencing with a Notice to Proceed (NTP).

• All on-site services will be performed at the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Yard, 2401 Hawkins Point Rd, Baltimore, MD 21226.

• The Government will provide material handling services for loading/unloading and equipment setup (48-hour advance request required).

• The Government will provide access to water, compressed air (Contractor responsible for hoses/connections), and electricity (up to 200 amps, 480 volts).

• Furnish all equipment, parts, tools, and services not designated as Government Furnished.

• Ensure Contractor personnel adhere to utility conservation practices.

• Report to the designated work site as specified.

• Provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Comply with all applicable safety (OSHA Shipyard Industry Standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and environmental regulations.

• Be responsible for the legal and proper disposal of all generated waste materials.

• Immediately report any environmental spills.

• Site Visit: Offerors are urged to inspect the site.

• Security & Access: Contractor personnel require RAPIDGate or TWIC for repeat access. Costs are the Contractor's responsibility. A list of employee names and DOBs is required for access. Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification is mandatory for US/Canadian contractors needing access to unclassified technical data.

• Warranty: Contractor warrants all services and parts against defects for a standard commercial warranty period post-acceptance.

• Liability: Contractor indemnifies the Government against liability arising from contract performance.

• Invoicing: Submit invoices electronically via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).

• Confidentiality: Contractor must not disclose sensitive technical data without prior written authorization.
