Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To furnish all labor, tools, and equipment for the cutting and removal of overgrown brush on U.S. Coast Guard Station Panama City property.

• The base bid work includes cutting and removing overgrown brush in the vicinity of the Station property entrance.

• Contractor shall comply with all safety requirements of the Coast Guard unit and NSA Panama City.

• Coordinate all staging and laydown areas with the Coast Guard prior to work commencement.

• The total contract performance period is 120 calendar days.

• Work is located at U.S. Coast Guard Station Panama City, Building 700, 1700 Navy Blvd, Panama City, FL 32406.

• Work Hours: Perform work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, unless otherwise approved. Schedule must minimize disruptions to building operations.

• Safety: Contractor is wholly responsible for work site safety and must implement a comprehensive safety program.

• Utilities: Reasonable amounts of electricity and potable water will be provided. Contractor is responsible for connection, conversion, transfer, and disconnection costs, as well as providing temporary toilet facilities.

• Underground Utilities: Contractor must physically verify the location and elevation of existing underground utilities.

• Premises Use: Work will be performed on an operational military installation. Contractor must obey station regulations and obtain authorization for straying from work areas.

• Cleanup: Contractor must keep the work area free of waste materials daily and comply with all regulations for storage, transport, and disposal of wastes. Coast Guard waste disposal facilities are not to be used.

• Environmental: Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations for environmental protection. Generated waste must be recycled or disposed of according to RCRA requirements. Hazardous waste must be manifested off-site with the Coast Guard as the Generator.

• Submittals: Submittals will be reviewed within 10 working days. Required submittals include a Safety Plan and Project Schedule notification.
