  • Exterior Surface Preservation.

Detailed test memos (Attachments 3-10) outline specific procedures and acceptance criteria for operational testing of replaced components, such as hydraulic, electrical, bilge, wheel/braking, steering, cooling, engine, and propulsion systems. An Engineering Liaison Memorandum (Attachment 11) specifies a new hydraulic flush filter model. Government Furnished Material (GFM) for bumper assembly replacement is detailed in Attachment 1.

Eligibility & Contract Details

  • Eligibility: Restricted to firms holding an active U.S. Navy MSRA or ABR in the Japan Region. Non-MSRA/ABR holders must be able to complete certification prior to award. Contractors outside Japan must demonstrate compliance with DFARS 252.225-7042.
  • Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price Job Order.
  • Period of Performance: Approximately August 17, 2026, to October 23, 2026.
  • Payment: In Japanese Yen (JPY) at an exchange rate of JPY 150.4415 per USD 1.00.
