- Wood Packing Materials (WPM): Compliance with International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) 15, American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) standards, and specific heat treatment (56°C for 30 minutes) and marking requirements is mandatory. Non-compliance may lead to refusal or destruction.
- Engineering Change Proposals (ECP): Instructions are provided for preparing and submitting contractor-initiated ECPs, Value Engineering Change Proposals (VECPs), Request for Deviations (RFDs), and Request for Variance (RFVs), including classification and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) evaluation procedures.
- Bar Code Markings: Required in accordance with the latest revision of MIL-STD-129 and ISO/IEC 16388 (Code 39).
Evaluation for Award
Award will be based on the lowest overall cost to the Government, provided the offeror is responsive and responsible.
