Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To obtain laundry and dry-cleaning services for Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) in Shiprock, NM.

• Provide comprehensive laundry and dry-cleaning services, including pick-up of soiled laundry and delivery of clean laundry.

• Services include management, supervision, quality control, labor, facilities, equipment, transportation, scales, and supplies.

• Contractor employees must wear visible photo identification badges.

• Performance will be evaluated based on standards in the Performance-based matrix (Appendix A).

• Key performance indicators include timeliness of deliveries, compliance with environmental regulations, quality of product and service, and business relationship/cost control.

• Specific standards for washing microfiber items separately, handling potentially contaminated items, and ensuring complete separation of NNMC laundry.

• Period of Performance: Base year (03/16/2026 - 03/15/2027) plus four option years through 03/15/2031.

• Place of Performance: Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC), Shiprock, NM.

• Contractor must provide all facilities, equipment, transportation, scales, and supplies.

• Contractor's facility must meet specific design and construction guidelines for healthcare facilities and undergo government inspections.

• Finished laundry must be clean, dry, folded, pressed, and free of defects (e.g., missing buttons, tears).

• Packaging must be by type, in clear plastic wrap, and delivered in linen carts.

• A delivery ticket detailing weight and article type is required.

• A Contingency Plan must be submitted.

• A plan to continue service during labor disputes is required.

• Government will provide clean linen carts and a soiled linen room.
