This document outlines the requirements for assessing various compartments on the LCU-1633 vessel, specifically focusing on ballast tanks, void spaces, and the ramp handling machinery compartment.

• Cleaning: Accomplish cleaning of specified tanks and voids using provided guidance and references.

• Verification: Verify the completion of cleaning, lighting, and ventilation services for each tank and void. This includes providing lighting and ventilation services during Level-I surveys and/or Level-II inspections.

• Support Work: Conduct support work for Level-I assessments, including removal/installation of ship's equipment and removable deck grating.

• Preservation: Accomplish cleaning and preservation of new and disturbed surfaces to match surrounding areas.

• Verification of cleaning, lighting, and ventilation services is required.

• Support work for Level-I assessment is a key deliverable.

• Visual inspection for cleanliness prior to final closing of tanks, voids, and cofferdams.

• Coordination with the ship's Damage Control Assistant (DCA) is required for fluid transfer.

To conduct support work for a Level-I assessment of various compartments on the LCU-1633 NBU-7 vessel.

• Perform support work for the Level-I assessment of 15 compartments.

• This includes removal and installation of ship's equipment, removable deck structures, berthing items, and stored items.

• Specific tasks include removing gratings, deck covering plates, and moving stored items as needed for access.

• Cleaning and preservation of new and disturbed surfaces to match the surrounding area is required.

• Verification of completed support work will be performed by S137 to execute the Level-I survey and/or Level-II inspection.

• Level-I inspectors will provide inspection plans when required.

Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels (MARV). The award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price job order under an existing MARAV. The requirement is for "Various Compartment Assessment - Ballast Tank" and "Various Compartment Assessment - Support Work."

• Two CLINs are listed: 0001 for "Various Compartment Assessment - Ballast Tank" and 0002 for "Various Compartment Assessment - Support Work."

• Both CLINs are described as "Pricing Arrangement: Firm Fixed Price."

• Award is restricted to firms possessing a current MARAV with the U.S. Navy (NAVSUP FLCY) in the form of either a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or an Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in the Japan Region.

• Firms without a MARAV may be ineligible unless there is adequate time for the Navy to assess their application and execute the agreement without impacting vessel availability.
