Scope of Work
The core requirement involves providing LDMS user support, account management, help desk services, and server administration (including backups, security, patching, hardware maintenance, and failure response) for the AFSA Depot and the Small Arms Program Office (SAPO). Key tasks include assisting with uploads of equipment inventory, parts/kits, customer names, vendors, tooling, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns within LDMS. The contractor will ensure LDMS sustainment allows for visibility and traceability of weapons/parts for Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance and maintain interface/data exchange with current and future legacy systems, such as the D043-Master Item Identification Control System.
Expertise and Skills Sought
The Air Force is seeking firms with:
- Program Management Support: Minimum 5 years of experience managing software, server administration, or database projects.
- System Operational Support: Minimum 5 years of experience supporting AF network infrastructure servers and databases.
- Legacy System Integration: Minimum 3 years of experience with legacy supply systems (e.g., D043, D035K) and LDMS integration.
- Information Assurance: DoD approved IA workforce certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) for System Administrators, Database Administrators, and Information Assurance Officers.
- LDMS Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of LDMS and its infrastructure, including user help desk support and DD Form 2875 validation.
