The selected contractor will provide legal consultation and advice on a range of issues affecting LE Staff, including:
- Compliance with Omani labor law and prevailing practices regarding recruitment, hiring, separation, reduction in force, benefits, compensation, wages, occupational safety, workers’ compensation, and employment visa/sponsorship.
- Review and update of the Locally Employed Staff Handbook and Local Compensation Plan for legal compliance.
- Guidance on disciplinary policy and separation for cause procedures to ensure compliance with Omani labor laws.
- Advice on death and repatriation benefits for non-Omani nationals as required by Omani labor law and Immigration Department.
- Consultation on new provisions of host government labor laws.
- Participation in Human Resources Office meetings and negotiations as needed.
- Provision of other legal services on an ad-hoc basis.

- Period of Performance: One-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods.
