Quick Summary

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Montana State Office, is soliciting quotes for Law Enforcement Vehicle Upfitting and Decommissioning services. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside acquisition for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) single award purchase order. The work involves equipping a new Ford F150 Police Responder and decommissioning a Chevrolet 2500 patrol vehicle. Quotes are due by March 24, 2026, at 1700 Local Mountain Time.

Scope of Work

This opportunity requires a vendor to perform two primary tasks:

  • Upfitting a 2025 Ford F150 Police Responder: Installation of emergency equipment, law enforcement decals, auxiliary lighting, and various wiring accessories. This includes both vendor-provided items (e.g., headlight wig/wag, taillight flashers, CELL/LTE/GPS "puck", spotlight LED) and BLM-provided equipment (e.g., Motorola/Bendix King radios, LED light bar, Havis console/mount, siren speaker, various LED lights, gunlocks, Setina storage, Starlink unit, rifle/shotgun mounts, prisoner cage).
  • De-commissioning a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500: Removal of all aftermarket emergency equipment, including light bars, rooftop antennas, equipment consoles, radios, and graphics. Antenna holes must be sealed water-tight. The 911 circuits power harness and Starlink antenna are to be re-used for the new vehicle. Prisoner cage and other equipment are to be left in the backseat or bed of the decommissioned truck.
