A specific annual maximum limit of RWF 15,000,000 per patient is required, and HIV/AIDS care must be included. Official Residence Expense (ORE) Staff are also to be covered as a rider.

Eligibility & Notes

Eligible employees include active U.S. Government employees paid under the Local Compensation Plan in Kigali, locally hired U.S. citizens, Chief of Mission and Deputy Chief of Mission staff, and Employee Association staff. Dependents include spouse and children. Value Added Tax (VAT) will not be reimbursed as all taxable supplies are VAT-exempt/zero-rated.
