To repair and refinish gypsum board ceilings and walls in laboratory, laboratory support, corridors, and ancillary spaces on the Second Floor of Building 401 at the CDC Ft. Collins Campus. The existing conditions make decontamination and cleanliness maintenance difficult.

• Cover gypsum board ceilings and walls with smooth, FRP (fiberglass reinforced polymer) panels and FRP trim, matching the existing installation in Building 401.

• Install FRP panels and trim using FRP-specific adhesive and white plastic rivet-headed fasteners.

• Seal all ceiling panel joints, edges, trims, and perimeters with white sealant.

• Address delaminated gypsum ceiling portions by demolishing, priming, and replacing to a Level 3 finish before FRP installation.

• Install FRP on concrete columns using FRP trim.

• Coordinate work with CDC for space decontamination and adjacent projects.

• Manage project schedule in phases, prioritizing Select Agent laboratory space, BSL-3, ABSL-3, and BSL-2 spaces.

• Provide all materials, equipment, and labor.

• Comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Implement fire watch during sprinkler system downtime and protect sprinkler heads.

• Install signage to prevent staff entry into active work phases.

• Remove and reinstall guard rails as needed, ensuring they are sealed to FRP and reinstalled in their original locations.

• Move equipment and coordinate all work with the COR.

• Ensure new FRP panels are Class C fire rated per ASTM E-84.

• Disconnect and reconnect utilities (electrical, fire alarm, fire protection) as needed.

• Provide waste disposal and recycling for demolished materials.

• Perform excessive noise generating activities and utility outages after normal business hours.

• Provide standard manufacturer's warranties and a one-year labor and workmanship warranty.

• Period of Performance: Commences upon award and completed no later than 180 days after Notice to Proceed.

• Place of Performance: Building 401, Ft. Collins Campus, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

• Minimum of five (3) full years of construction experience with similar material installations and interior finishes.
