Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To perform a complete "Out of Frame" assessment of the ALCO Model 251C engine located on the decommissioned USS BOXER (LHD-4) at the East Coast BHR Asset.

• Provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision.

• Preparation & Preliminary Inspection: Conduct a 17-day engine block assessment and steam clean the exterior and engine bay.

• Disassembly & Inspection: Systematically disassemble the engine, marking components. Clean components via chemical bath or ultrasonic. Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) or Dye Penetrant tests on critical components. Conduct dimensional inspection of cylinder bores, crankshaft journals, and bearing clearances against OEM specifications. Deliver crankshaft to a subcontractor for assessment and balancing.
