Scope of Work
This solicitation (RFQ) requires a non-destructive aerial site survey using a small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) within a 1200-foot radius of the radar tower. Key tasks include:
- Acquiring high-density aerial LiDAR data and imagery.
- Generating a geospatial model of vegetation canopy height.
- Mapping vegetation against current and potential future tower heights.
- Attributing inventoried trees to "Stakeholder Zones" and classifying them into three "Threat Tiers" based on elevation relative to the radar's critical plane.
- Deliverables: Classified point cloud, vegetation obstruction map, Digital Surface Model (DSM), Canopy Height Model (CHM), survey report, and a vegetation obstruction table.
- Optional Objective (CLIN 0002): If exercised, a Licensed Professional Forester will conduct a boots-on-the-ground assessment of Tier 1 and Tier 2 obstruction zones, including timber valuation, species identification, health assessment, and NEPA Categorical Exclusion screening. Submission & Evaluation
