Quick Summary
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is conducting a Sources Sought to identify small business concerns capable of performing the LLA Levee Pump System Upgrade project in Lewiston, ID. This project involves significant upgrades to four levee pump stations, with an estimated magnitude of $10M - $25M. Responses will help determine if the requirement can be set aside for small businesses. Responses are due March 13, 2026.
Scope of Work
This project entails the removal and demolition of existing pumps, motors, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and water level float sensing systems. New installations will include pumps and motors for stations exceeding life cycle hours or failing, new MCCs with soft starter technology and emergency diesel generator connectors, and new Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The scope also covers upgrading alarm systems with enhanced warning capabilities, installing new water level sensing equipment (Infra Red sensors with possible radar backup), and potentially new PLCs, radios, and auto-dialer systems at the Clarkston NRM Maintenance Office.
