Scope of Work
The DLA seeks detailed information from industry on their capabilities to reprocess/re-melt tin. Key areas of interest include:

- Experience: Examples of direct and non-prime experience with similar work.
- Regulations & Certifications: Identification of necessary regulations, certifications, or equipment.

- Financial Resources: Company's financial capacity to support the effort.
- Material Information: Grades, forms, specifications, impurities, testing methods, and laboratory capabilities.
- Supply Information: Facility locations, material loss, annual production, reprocess/re-melt timelines, and pricing.
- Delivery Information: Pickup/delivery times, quantities, costs, capacity, completion times, byproduct credits, and packaging.
- Storage Information: Common conditions, duration, shelf life, environmental impact, and safety controls.
- Market Information: Market price changes, availability impacts, manufacturing process changes, and material substitutions.
- Additional Information: Provisions for long-term agreements, Wide Area Workflow accounts, sales data, FAR clause 52.216-2, and SAM registration.

Proprietary information must be clearly marked. This RFI is voluntary, and no payment for costs incurred will be provided. Information gathered will inform future acquisition strategy and potential RFQ development.
