Scope of Work
This requirement involves procuring specific tool sets, including the Hangar Box, Silicone Box, Structures Box, and Composite Box, as detailed in Exhibits A through D. The contractor will be responsible for:
- Procuring tools and toolboxes based on government-provided lists.
- Designing and producing custom-cut, two-color foam tool shadow trays for toolboxes (contractor-purchased or government-provided).
- Providing tool ID laser etchings on each tool using government-provided ID numbers, ensuring legibility and specific placement requirements.
- Ensuring identical tool layouts and sequential etchings for multiple identical tool kits.
- Shipping all items to the government delivery point at Ellsworth AFB, SD.
Key Requirements
Tools must be professional-grade, with capabilities matching reference part numbers. A Brand Name Justification (Attach 6) specifies the need for Snap-On tools due to standardization requirements per DAFMAN 21-101. All tools must have a nine-digit Worldwide Identification Number (WWID) laser etched. Foam trays must be custom-cut, two-layered, and contrasting for tool retention and identification of missing tools. Tool insert layouts require government approval prior to production.
