The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is issuing this Special Notice as a Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the acquisition of Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) Enterprise-Wide related to the modernization of warehouse equipment at the various Distribution sites.
The purpose of this Notice is to conduct Market Research to learn more about industry’s perspective and capabilities related to the changes in the Government’s draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government is looking for industry’s feedback to ensure the requirement has been clearly defined, is not restrictive in nature, and is achievable as written. Special attention should be paid to the sections of the PWS highlighted yellow, as the Government is seeking to understand vendor capabilities and impact on total cost to meet those additional requirements.
The current contracts are SP330021D0008, SP330021D0009, and SP330021D0010 with the contractors being Conveyor Handling Company, Inc., Werres Corporation, and Unity Technologies Corporation, respectively.
