Scope of Work

The contractor will provide a turnkey solution encompassing the design, engineering, furnishing, installation, and testing of a new single-mode (SM) fiber optic cable system. This includes installing a 7-Way/cell Microduct Innerduct system and 48 strands of SM Microfiber FOC between Building 205 and Building 405, utilizing existing base-wide duct systems where feasible. Inside facility conduit installation will also be required. All materials and equipment must be new. Anticipated Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) include:

  • CLIN 0001: Installation and Testing of Fiber Optic Cable Installation between Building 205 to Building 405
  • CLIN 0002: Fiber Optic Cable, Equipment, and Other Materials
  • CLIN 0003: Deliverables

Contract Details

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), with the intent to award a single, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The requirement falls under NAICS code 335921 (Fiber Optic Cable Manufacturing) with a 1,000-employee size standard, and Product Service Code (PSC) 6015 (Fiber Optic Cables). The Nonmanufacturer Rule does not apply, allowing small businesses to supply products manufactured by companies of any size. The anticipated award date is approximately June 24, 2026. The requirement is not anticipated to exceed the WOSB set-aside threshold of $6.5M. Delivery dates are to be proposed by the offeror.

Submission & Evaluation
