Quick Summary

The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, is soliciting proposals for Low Pressure Gage Calibrators. This opportunity seeks to procure a minimum of one (1) and a maximum of one hundred and fifty (150) calibrators via a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. These calibrators are essential for Navy fleet Calibration Laboratories to replace obsolete models and support in-lab bench top and on-site calibration needs. Proposals are due April 9, 2026.

Scope of Work

The requirement is for portable pneumatic pressure calibration systems, which may be commercial or modified commercial designs. These calibrators will be used by Navy personnel to calibrate a wide variety of low pressure transducers, gauges, and indicators using pneumatic media. Key technical requirements include:

  • Pressure Modes & Ranges: Absolute (1-100 psia), Gauge (-14 to 100 psig), and Vacuum (0-28 inHg) with specified uncertainties and a minimum 5½ digit display resolution.
  • Functionality: User-friendly controls, manual/automatic operation, static/dynamic pressure control, automated leak testing, pressure head correction, and an automated self-purging liquid trap.
  • Media: Clean, dry nitrogen or filtered ambient air, with separate circuits to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Accessories: Must include a vacuum pump, water/hydrocarbon resistant accessory/transit case, supply and test pressure hoses, and various fitting adapters.
  • Performance Standards: Calibration certificates with actual data, traceable to NIST, and resulting in an Accredited Certificate/Report of Calibration. Units must have a manufacturer's standard warranty of at least one year.
  • Deliverables: Technical Manual, Calibration Certificate and Report, Repairable Parts List, Software Version Description, and a recorded Training Manual, all considered Firm Fixed Price (FFP) elements.
