Scope of Work
This requirement involves the removal of existing ventilation ducts and the installation of new ones for the Supply System (SS-31) and Exhaust System (ES-92). Specific locations include SD Storerooms (6-18-1-A, 6-27-2-A, 5-18-2-A) and a Passage (6-24-0-L). Materials include approximately 64 FT of Rectangle and Spiral Round Duct for SS-31 and 10 FT of 5-inch ID Spiral Round Duct for ES-92, along with gaskets for supply system flanges. Ductwork must be galvanized steel and non-watertight. The work must adhere to Standard Items (FY26), HVAC General Notes and Construction Details, HVAC Arrangement Units 1330 and 1340, and the HVAC Thermal Insulation Schedule. Government Furnished Material (GFM) will be provided by the Ship's Repair Facility (SRF).
Performance Requirements
Key performance standards include a local air hose test of bulkhead penetration with zero allowable leakage, cleaning and preservation of new and disturbed surfaces to match surrounding areas, visual inspection of completion by Ship's Force, and submission of a condition report detailing work results.
Eligibility & Restrictions
This procurement is restricted to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders located in Japan. Offerors must be duly authorized to operate and do business in Japan and must demonstrate this authorization at the time of proposal submission. This restriction is in accordance with DFARS 225.1103(3).
