Fit reasons
- NAICS alignment with historical contract wins in similar service areas.
- Scope strongly matches core technical capabilities and delivery model.
Risks
- Past performance thresholds may require one additional teaming partner.
- Potential clarification needed on staffing minimums before bid/no-bid.
Next steps
Validate eligibility requirements, assign capture owner, and schedule partner outreach to confirm teaming strategy before submission planning.
Quick Summary
The 96th Test Systems Squadron (TSSQ) is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) for Multi-Object Tracking Radar Systems (MOTRs). This RFI seeks capabilities statements from potential sources, including small and large businesses, to provide procurement and sustainment support for tracking radar systems capable of real-time tracking of multiple airborne C-Band radar beacons. The goal is to modernize the Eglin Gulf Test and Training Range (EGTTR) capabilities. Responses are due by March 30, 2026.
Scope of Work
The EGTTR currently uses legacy single-object tracking radars. The 96th Test Wing is interested in Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) solutions for accurate Time/Space/Position Information (TSPI) systems to support multiple simultaneous cooperative and non-cooperative systems under test. Key requirements include tracking multiple spatially diverse C-band beacons simultaneously and systems with a beacon tracking range greater than 175 nautical miles. Proof of direct applied knowledge or ready access to OEM proprietary engineering and technical information is required.
Information Requested
Interested sources must demonstrate capacity and capability, with verifiable past performance, for:
- Procuring, providing, and installing materials, spare parts, and consumables.
- Designing, testing, modifying, and installing system components, modifications, and improvements.
- Repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining to manufacturer specifications.
- Operating, calibrating, aligning, tuning, and verifying performance to manufacturer specifications.
- Procuring new Instrumentation Radar systems.
Response Details
Vendors should submit a white paper (up to 8 pages, 12-point font) and/or a PowerPoint presentation (up to 16 slides). Submissions must be electronic (PDF, Word, or PowerPoint) to Mr. Anthony Aldrich at 96TSSQ.RNXT.RNXTRFI@US.AF.MIL. Administrative information (company name, CAGE, POC, business size status, foreign-owned status) should be included and does not count towards page limits. Proprietary information must be clearly marked. Questions should be submitted in writing to Mr. Aldrich; government responses to general questions will be shared.
