The Navy has designated the Damen Naval Landing Ship Transport 100 (LST 100) design as the official design basis for the Medium Landing Ship (LSM) Block 1.
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to modify Contract No. N00024-25-C-2414 with Damen Naval, De Willem Ruysstraat 99, 4381 NK, Vlissingen, The Netherlands, to provide engineering support to the LSM Program. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the proposed contract action on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2304(c)(1) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Damen Naval directly.
