This notice is for market research purposes to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing and delivering the DEMOLITION KIT, BANGALORE TORPEDO: 5FT, M1A2 (NSN 1375-00-926-1948) and the DEMOLITION KIT, BANGALORE TORPEDO: 2.5FT, M1A3 (NSN 1375-01-528-7226). The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) is considering a firm-fixed-price production contract with five one-year ordering periods, with an estimated yearly production quantity of 700-1,500 of each item.

• Manufacturing, packaging, inspection, testing, and delivery of Bangalore Torpedo Demolition Kits.

• Kits include specific components and explosive charges (Composition B-4 and Composition A-3).

• M1A2: 5ft tubes, 10 per kit, max system length 50ft.

• M1A3: 2.5ft tubes, 8 per kit, max system length 20ft.

• Primary use: Clearing paths through barbed wire entanglements.

• Required capabilities include metal parts manufacturing, explosive loading/handling, and Load Assemble Pack (LAP).
