Scope of Work
This opportunity seeks capabilities for manufacturing, packaging, inspecting, testing, and delivering the Bangalore Torpedo Demolition Kits according to Government-owned Technical Data Packages (TDPs). The kits include:
- M1A2 (5FT): Ten 5-foot tubes (max 50ft system length), each with ~10.5 lbs Composition B-4 and 0.5 lbs Composition A-3.
- M1A3 (2.5FT): Eight 2.5-foot tubes (max 20ft system length), each with ~5.25 lbs Composition B-4 and 0.5 lbs Composition A-3.
The primary use is to clear paths through barbed wire entanglements. Required capabilities include metal parts manufacturing, explosive loading and handling, and Load Assemble Pack (LAP). First Article Testing (FAT) and Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT) will be mandatory. Preferred lead times are 270 days for FAT and 365 days for production commencement.

- Set-Aside: Requirements may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part), procured through full and open competition, or awarded on a sole source basis. All small business socio-economic categories will be considered.

- Identification of components/materials subject to price volatility/scarcity and mitigation strategies.

Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
TDPs for each configuration are available upon request to assist in responding. Requests must be made through SAM.gov by clicking "Request Explicit Access" under the "Attachments / Links" tab. An approved DD2345 and potentially a Use and Non-Disclosure Agreement are required. Allow 2-3 business days for processing. TDPs must be destroyed upon market survey closure.
