Statement of Work (SOW)

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for repairing Well #9 at Keesler AFB, MS. The project involves furnishing all equipment, labor, supervision, and materials necessary for new sleeving, screen, pipe, gravel, pump, instrumentation, controls, a generator, and installation of a concrete pad.

Phase 1: Well Construction

• Demolition: Removal of existing turbine pump, instrumentation, controls, chlorination pump, grass, topsoil, native soil, electric service meter, conduit, pull box, safety switch, and underground wire/conduit.
• New Construction: Installation of casing, K packer, PVC tremie line, water lubricated turbine pump with controls (communicating with EMCS), chemical descaler, test pumps, new screens, gravel, and replacement of chlorination and fluoride systems with specified De Nora parts.

Phase 2: Generator Installation

• Installation of concrete slabs for a new generator and fuel tank.

• Installation of a new 150 KW Cummins Onan diesel generator with a 225A automatic transfer switch (ATS) with bypass isolation.

• Wiring of the generator to the ATS and the ATS to the existing medium voltage transformer and electrical system.

• Plumbing of the diesel tank to the generator.

• Installation of a 1000-gallon diesel tank.

• Installation of a new smart meter and weatherproof GFCI receptacle.

• Provision of all accessories, conductors, grounding, and hardware for a complete system.

• Location: Building 3967 at Keesler AFB, MS.

• Performance Time: 10 days after Award and ending 365 days later.

• Submittals: Contractor must provide material submittals (MSS) and obtain approval before starting work. This includes product data, shop drawings, and certifications.

• Safety: Compliance with OSHA, EPA, MDEQ, and Air Force safety regulations is mandatory. This includes asbestos abatement, lead-based paint management, and general jobsite safety.
