Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To procure maintenance support services for ThermoFisher-manufactured laboratory equipment owned and operated by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to ensure continued full function and continuity of NIA research data.

• Provide maintenance and repair support for the following Thermo Electron instruments:

  • Orbitrap Eclipse ETD Ready (Serial Number: FSN40244)
  • Ultimate 3000 NCS-3500RS Nano Nano-Cap-S (Serial Number: 8179074)
  • Dionex WPS-3000TPL RS Autosampler (Serial Number: 8179259)

• Services include labor, travel, and replacement parts for:

  • Preventative maintenance
  • Installation of new instrument software upgrades
  • Staff training on new software
  • Troubleshooting problems

• Replacement parts and software upgrades must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified.

• Only Original manufacturer certified trained technicians from Thermo Electron are authorized for troubleshooting, software installation, training, and preventative maintenance.

• Service technicians shall acknowledge repair requests within 24 business hours.

• An onsite visit from a technician shall occur within 72 business hours.

• Vendor staff will provide reporting via email.

• Base Year: December 31, 2025, through December 30, 2026

• Option Year One: December 31, 2026, through December 30, 2027

• Option Year Two: December 31, 2027, through December 30, 2028

• No travel reimbursement is authorized.

• Government will provide workspace, a desktop computer, and telephone for the contractor when on-site.

• Contractor shall provide a dedicated project manager as a government contact point.

• Contractor shall comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
