This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. Routine dredging project to address shoaling in the Manistique River and Harbor. Material removed will be placed nearshore for beach nourishment. Hydraulically dredge up to 92,500 CY from STA 0+00 to STA 46+00 to 12 ft Maintained Project Depth, plus 1 ft of allowable overdredge tolerance. Place material nearshore 7,000 ft southwest from the west breakwater along the Lake Michigan shoreline between the OHWM and 10 ft depth contour. Place material in the water from the deepest allowable depth as currently approved, and shoreward without allowing the material to pile within 1 foot below current water levels to alleviate concerns of blowing sand with the City of Manistique and MDOT.
