Purpose
NAVFAC EXWC seeks to identify qualified potential sources and obtain qualification statements for Manned Hyperbaric Systems Support Services. The information gathered will inform future acquisition strategies.
Scope of Work
The requirement involves comprehensive support for various shore-based manned hyperbaric systems globally. Services include:
- Overhaul of certified and uncertified U.S. Military Hyperbaric Systems.
- Design, fabrication, installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of:
- Recompression Chamber Facilities
- High Pressure Charging Systems
- Surface Supplied Diving Systems
- Escape Trainer Facilities
- Hyperbaric Medical Facilities Contractors must possess capabilities in managing multiple projects, performing work in remote locations, material storage, quality control, complex piping fabrication/welding (ASME B31.1), AutoCAD drafting, MIL-STD-1330 cleaning, US Navy Dive Manual re-entry control, and ASME V Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). Coordination with service providers for ASME BPVC/PVHO pressure vessel fabrication and Navy METCAL calibration is also required.
