Purpose & Scope
The objective is to secure full-time, non-personal support for small boat maintenance and operations for the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion. This includes supporting amphibious and boat chiefs with technical collaboration, maintenance, and operational training advisement. The scope covers approximately 96 pieces of equipment, including Zodiac CRRC, RHIB, USMC OWSC, USMC Dive Boats, various Evinrude and Mercury outboard engines, associated tools, trailers, and calibration equipment. Responsibilities involve developing daily operational briefings, providing technical support for maintenance and material management (including preventative maintenance scheduling and inventory), maintaining boat locker publications, and assisting in maintenance at various locations.

Key Requirements
Personnel must be US Citizens with a current SECRET clearance (or ability to obtain one), fluent in English, possess a high school education, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A minimum of one year of experience with Oracle-based Global Combat Support Systems (GCSS) is required, along with an understanding of US military ranks and customs. Professional attire and conduct are expected. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of US Military watercraft and engine maintenance experience, experience with Marine Forces Reserve, and specific Marine Corps units, plus a minimum of 1 year of maintenance quality control experience. Certifications for specific watercraft and engines are also preferred.
