Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide essential life support services over a 23-day period (June 8 – June 30, 2026) for the 26th MEU Command Element. Key services include:

  • Tent Enclosures: Two 200-man tents, fully set up by June 11, 2026, and removed by June 30, 2026 (removal can start June 27). Tents must withstand 80 mph winds and include tables and chairs for 200 people per tent (6 per table), with flooring capable of supporting cots (industry-standard interlocking PVC is acceptable). The Government will provide internal tent illumination.
  • Mobile Shower Units: Capable of supporting 350 people showering once daily for 10 days (total 3500 showers). Showers must be operational by June 13, 2026, and removed by June 23, 2026. Includes power generation, fuel, daily maintenance, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and at least one shower head per 10 people. Periodic cleaning, sanitization, and servicing are required.
  • Laundry Service: Estimated 232 loads per pickup day (total ~696 loads) with a 48-hour turnaround. Pickup/drop-off on June 13, 15, and 17, 2026. Contractor must provide laundry bags and itemized receipts.
  • Floodlights: A minimum of 22 floodlights (4000W equivalent), with 12 at Location #1 and 10 at Location #2. Includes sustainment of fuel, delivery/pickup, and maintenance.
  • Water & Waste Management: Daily water delivery for shower and laundry facilities (no on-site water points). Daily removal and off-installation disposal of grey water, with contractor responsible for coordinating with Onslow County environmental authorities. The Government will provide dumpsters for general waste, but the contractor must be prepared to dispose of shower waste if dumpsters are full.
  • Site Cleanup: During and after all activities, limited to contractor-generated trash and debris.
  • Maintenance & Support: 24/7 maintenance support for all equipment, with a 2-hour response acknowledgment for malfunctions and a 6-hour response for discrepancies. A singular point of contact for operations and maintenance is required.
