Scope of Work
The contractor will provide ad hoc rotary-wing airlift AME services, including aircrew, ground personnel, aircraft, supplies, and ancillary support. Services must be available 24 hours per day, including weekends and holidays, during specified performance periods.
Key Tasks & Deliverables
- Positioning/Depositioning Aircraft: Deploy and retrograde aircraft, personnel, and equipment to/from training areas (MBTA, KFTA, BFTA). A guaranteed minimum of six taskings is confirmed.
- Perform Mission Requirements: Provide dedicated aircraft in standby alert status during scheduled training events. A guaranteed minimum of 18 days of standby alert is confirmed.
- Aeromedical Evacuation: Conduct casualty/emergency evacuation via air movement to designated medical facilities, including collection, stabilization, and evacuation.
- Training and Rehearsals: Conduct AME rehearsals and sustainment training with on-site medical personnel.

- Location: Training exercises in and around Mount Bundy Training Area (MBTA), Kangaroo Flats Training Area (KFTA), and Bradshaw Field Training Area (BFTA) in the Northern Territory of Australia.
Performance Standards & Requirements
- Response Time: Respond within five (5) minutes of notification; aircraft airborne within twenty (20) minutes.
- Aircraft Capabilities: Twin engine, 138 mph+, 400 km range, UHF/VHF radio, capable of transporting two non-ambulatory critical patients, dusty zone landing, Low Light Level (LLL) and Night Vision Goggles (NVG) capable, Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) capable. Rotary wing specific: winching, 100'x100' LZ landing capability.
- Personnel: Program Manager, Aircrew (pilot + officer), Aircraft Maintenance Personnel, En-route Care Team (ACM Level 4 Physician and ACM Level 3 Flight Nurse or equivalents).
