SOLE SOURCE NOTICE OF INTENT
The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph (JBSA-Randolph), TX proposes to solicit and award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to MLC CAD Systems, LLC, the sole source authorized Mastercam regional distributor for Texas.
This action will be executed using FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, under the authority associated with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one available source.
The requirement is to provide the following:
Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001: Subscription renewal of existing annual software maintenance and support for eight (8) seats/licenses of Mastercam Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Machining (CAD/CAM) Software. See attached redacted Single Source Justification (SSJ) for full details.
This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal. However, interested parties may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to legitimately fulfill the requirement in its entirety via email to vivian.fisher@us.af.mil with a copy to catherine.hardy@us.af.mil no later than 26 Dec 2025 at 1:00PM Central Time. Any costs incurred in preparing the submission will not be reimbursed by the Government. Additionally, the information received will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
