This document provides responses to vendor questions regarding the delivery of materials, machining requirements, and payment terms for an opportunity.

• Delivery Documentation: Drivers delivering to NASA Glenn Research Center must provide their full legal name, email address, and approximate arrival time. Drivers must be US citizens with a REAL ID and are not permitted to carry weapons. NASA will arrange an escort and temporary pass.
• Material Unloading: NASA has a forklift and will remove materials from the delivery truck. The delivery driver does not need to provide unloading equipment.
• Machining/Processing: NASA requires specific tolerances and edge requirements for the 4' x 8' aluminum sheets. The example provided is "shear cut +/- 0.063", CNC plate saw cut +/- 0.125", CNC laser cut +/- 0.01", or CNC plasma cut +/- 0.125". Vendors should quote based on these requirements, as nonconforming materials will be returned at the vendor's expense.
• Accelerated Payments: Small businesses can request the "accelerated net-15 payment schedule upon delivery" directly in their quote. No additional form is required.
• Price Volatility: NASA's acceptance of quotes with varying price validity periods (10, 20, or 30 days) is dependent on how quickly the NSSC awards the order.

• Questions Deadline: All contractual and technical questions must be submitted via email by April 17, 2026, by 12 p.m. CT. Telephone questions will not be accepted.

• Evaluation Criteria: The contract will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). Offers not deemed technically acceptable will be removed from further consideration.

• This procurement is set aside for small business.

• Offerors must be registered at www.sam.gov to be considered for award.

• Delivery is FOB Destination.

• Non-conforming material will be evaluated for return or acceptance "as-is" at the vendor's expense for return shipping and handling.

• The solicitation incorporates various FAR and NFS clauses by reference, including those related to System for Award Management, Duty-Free Entry, Place of Manufacture, Export Licenses, and Ombudsman.
