Scope of Work
This solicitation is for the rental of a Material Transfer Vehicle (MTV) to reheat Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) for paving operations on Taxiway Hotel at Avon Park Florida Air Force Range. The MTV must be rear-loadable from a dump truck, compatible with a Cat AP900 Asphalt Paver, and capable of reheating HMA to at least 280 degrees Fahrenheit. Approximately 8,100 tons of HMA will be reheated. The contractor is responsible for safe transport of the MTV, all regular and preventative maintenance, and providing licensed drivers capable of operating heavy machinery and communicating in English.

Additional Notes
Offerors must submit a per-day rate for all 50 days, with payment based on actual days the MTV is on-site and available (minimum 30 days guaranteed). The contractor and government will maintain a daily availability log. If the MTV fails due to no fault of the customer, the contractor is responsible for repairs or replacement. Payment will be made via Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF).
