Scope of Work
The requirement is to lease 15 FLUVs for a 54-day period, specifically for flight line ground transportation during the spring WTI Course, from March 8, 2026, to April 30, 2026. Vehicles will be operated by U.S. Government personnel for a maximum of 12 hours per day.
Key Vehicle Requirements:
- Seating for four individuals.
- Minimum 12 cubic foot cargo bed with 800 lb capacity.
- Minimum ground clearance of 4.9 inches.
- Maximum speed not to exceed 20 MPH.
- Equipped with LED headlights and brake lights, automatic parking brake.
- Maximum dimensions: 77 inches tall, 50 inches wide.

- Vehicles must be designed for heavy, industrial use, not traditional "golf carts."
Contractor Responsibilities include:
- Providing all maintenance (preventative and corrective) in accordance with OEM and commercial standards.
- Conducting pre-delivery inspections and delivering fully operational, safe, and fueled vehicles to MCAS Yuma.
- Providing drivers for delivery and pick-up, and offloading/onloading FLUVs.
- Responding to equipment failures within 24 hours and arranging repairs within one day.
- Providing replacement equipment at no additional cost if non-operational for more than two days.
- Recovering disabled vehicles 24/7 and performing onsite repairs during normal business hours.
- Maintaining a parts inventory and adhering to DFARS 252.217-7028 for "Over and Above" repairs.
- Maintaining required liability insurance.
