Justification for Sole Source
Market research indicates that Cresent Brands LLC, as the sole US authorized distributor of the Valani cutting machine, is the only source capable of meeting the Government's unique requirements. These include processing materials up to 48" x 99", cutting thicknesses of at least 1/2 inch, an oscillating cutting head, "V" cut capability, and tool changes without resetting the job. No other commercially available system has been identified that meets this combination of specifications.
