  • Phase 1: Duct Cleaning: Physical removal of dust, debris, and microbial growth from the entire air conveyance system using mechanical agitation and HEPA-filtered vacuum collection. Post-cleaning surface sampling must indicate fungal amplification is not occurring (IICRC S520 Condition 1).
  • Phase 2: Air Sanitization System Installation: Installation of an active, long-term infection control air treatment system generating un-encapsulated hydrogen peroxide vapor. This system must provide continuous infection control, neutralize mold, bacteria, and viruses, and produce zero ozone. Airborne spore trap analysis must show indoor fungal ecology comparable to or more favorable than outdoor samples within 72 hours of activation.
  • Mold Remediation: If active mold is identified, the Contractor must treat it according to IICRC S520 standards and must be IICRC Mold Remediation Specialist certified.
