Scope of Work
This solicitation covers the procurement of various individual-serving Kosher food products, including but not limited to: Kosher Tuna, Sardines, Cereal, Oatmeal, Farina, Whole Wheat Bread, Vegetable Juice, Margarine, Instant Coffee, Fruit Flavored Drink Powder, and Certified Kosher Parve Pastries/Desserts. All individual food packages must be marked with the kosher certification hechsher and comply with BOP National Menu Specifications.
Deliveries are F.O.B. Destination at MDC Guaynabo, PR. Specific delivery conditions include palletization (unless arranged), strict temperature controls for perishable, canned, and frozen items (e.g., 0°F or below for frozen), and refusal of any product indicating prior thawing. Deliveries are scheduled Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM (excluding lunch and federal holidays). Vendors may be required to provide product samples prior to award.
