Scope of Work
This opportunity requires the provision of a comprehensive range of food items, including various beans, pasta, cereals, chips, peanut butter, soy protein products, tofu, oils, dressings, mustard, baked goods (french toast, pancakes), tomato catsup, a wide selection of vegetables (green beans, carrots, corn, mixed vegetables, peas, sweet peas, potatoes), spices (chili powder blend, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, black pepper, salt), and meats (beef, chicken, pork, turkey, sausage, fish).
Deliveries are F.O.B. Destination to the Metropolitan Detention Center Guaynabo. All deliveries must be palletized unless otherwise arranged and adhere to strict temperature requirements for perishable and frozen foods. Items must comply with BOP National Menu Specifications, and certified religious diet items require a Kosher Symbol. Items will be inspected upon arrival and may require thawing and cooking for testing.
